New video: Paper, marvellous invention

New video: Paper, marvellous invention

Since it first opened in 1961, the mission of the Paper Mill Museum in Capellades has been to preserve the craft of handmade paper. But what role does this craft play today? Does it make sense to keep on using the same processes as three hundred years ago? Can innovation be sought in craftsmanship? What is its contribution to the world of art and design? We reflected on all this with some of the mill's clients, such as the monk Jordi Puigdevall from the Abbey of Montserrat, Jordi Roca from Celler de Can Roca, the designer Xavier Roca, the chef Carme Ruscalleda, the sculptor Jaume Plensa and the artist Jo Milne.
